What's Been Goin' On

I know I have not really posted much lately, been pretty busy. Or just been lazy, whatever. So here is what has been going on in my life.

Drinking
I did that a few times last week. Unfortunately, I worked all weekend so I could not go out for the Penn State game (which I did not get to watch) or for the Labor Day holiday...

Nothing really extraordinary happened, just me drinking, so sadly, I have no stories for you.

Book Store Adventure
Friday I went to Barnes & Noble to buy some books. I am standing there in the fiction section, looking Wolves of Calla by Stephen King. This cute girl comes by and starts browsing the section as well. She smiles at me and I think nothing of it.

I then make my way over to the Fantasy section, and after a few minutes there she is again. She smiles and I smile back. Yet, I really think nothing of it. One of the books I was looking for happens to be in the teen section, so I make my way over there, and here comes cute girl. Now, my thought is, I should talk to her, but then I think, she could just be looking at the same kind of books.

So, I test the theory. I go across the store and start looking at history books. Without fail, here comes my girl. She is looking at history books, and smiles at me. At this point, what should I do? Talk to her, try to get her phone number, something, right?

What do you think I did? You guessed it, I walked briskly to the register, paid for my books, and got in my car. Once in my car I thought to myself how stupid I was and that I should have said something. Instead of going back in and actually doing it though, I just tucked my penis between my legs and drove home.

Why would I share this story?

TV Shows
The fall season is quickly coming up and I need some shows to watch. As of now I am looking forward to House, Supernatural, Bones, Smallville, and maybe Flash Forward.

I really do not know if I will even give Heroes a shot. I still have never finished last season. Did anyone? Was it good? Should I watch it and maybe continue writing about it this season? Which shows should I write about?

Speaking of good shows, I finally watched the finale of Supernatural. I am pretty excited about this season. Sam and Dean up against Lucifer. When the season first started I was nervous about them introducing angels into the mix. But, when we learn that the angels are trying to help start the apocalypse, that was a pretty cool twist. Especially when Zacharriah says that god checked out long ago...

Midnights
I have to go back to working a few third shifts this week. It was a nice two months or so since my last one, which has been great. I would complain, but I am actually looking forward to it.

Well that's about it. I plan to write a post everyday this week, so you know, come back, comment, whatever...

Heroes: "Exposed"

You thought I forgot to watch it? Do not be silly, I have written about every single episode of this show, and I do not plan to stop.

-I completely forgot about Micah. He must be Rebel. I wonder if this will make his character any more interesting? Probably not.

-How does Parkman blowing up prove that the government needs to hunt down people? Seems like a stretch to me.

-So Angela and Mr.B are working some angle here, and now Nathan is in with them. Does it really matter?

-Sylar's dad has the telekinesis power that Sylar stole from his first victim? And his father uses that power to kill people the same way that Sylar does? Why? Granted, at least this storyline is interesting.

-Claire kissed Aqualad. Then the Puppet Master guy shows up and tells her that Rebel said she could save him. Why? Let him get captured. Rebel did not seem to care when the company was holding the guy in the dungeons, what difference does it make now...

-This is the bitch that is chasing Claire. Taylor Cole (her name is Rachel on the show, and apparently she has a power...)

-Anything else interesting happen?

Heroes: "Building 26" and "Cold Wars"

Let me just say that I had no desire to really watch these two episodes. After watching 24, I was bored and decided to give them a shot. There were good aspects and some very bad ones.

Thoughts
-The Sylar & Luke dynamic has been entertaining. Anyone think it will turn out they are brothers? I also love how easily Sylar can deal with the agents they send after him. You would think the government would have a better plan of attack for him. Obviously not though.

-The Indian girl that Hiro and Ando met was pretty hot. How come Hiro does not use his cool fighting abilities he learned from his father? Just pick up a sword and be badass. Being able to sword is not dependent on teleportation.

-Wow, finally a character with a different power: the ability to breath underwater. If I were him I would set up an underwater kingdom, and call myself either Namor or Aquaman.

-Daphne is alive. Matt must go after her. His reading Mr.B's memories was pretty cool, although to much like season one when we learned about his past through black and white. Quit trying to relive what was successful the first season.

-I have a feeling "Rebel" is actually Mr.B. How else would this guy have such detailed information about who will be picked up next. Something tells me Hunter will have some secret reason for hating these freaks.

-They need to find a way to have Peter go back to being able to use multiple powers at once. Him flying around all the time is pretty lame. Same goes with Hiro, give him his powers back. And please, for the love of god, stop having him shout "Yatta!" This has gotten old and we are not seeing the future Hiro we saw before. Granted, maybe the future no longer exists, but I think everyone will agree that the idea of watching him grow into that character would be much better.

-I really wish they would use some common sense about Tracy's power. Unless she can only freeze things with her hands, which makes her insanely weak. But, even then, she could still freeze the air molecules touching her hands, pushing them further out and constantly freezing more (see where I am going with this?) Maybe she just needs more practice. Hopefully at some point she will be a bit more badass like Iceman from X-Men.

-Just kill Suresh at this point. In fact, kill most of the characters. Just have a show about Sylar going around killing people. That would be awesome. Have him acquiring new powers each time, really crazy ones. And then have him go after President Nathan Petrelli.

Well that is all I really have about these two episodes. Did anyone else even watch them?

Heroes: "Trust and Blood"

I have a feeling this season will continue much of the stupidity of last season (not that this was unexpected)...Like last season, there were still cool moments in the episode.

For example, Sylar is such a badass. He has pretty much went batshit crazy. I love it. What will happen when he joins forces with Peter and his gang of idiots? Will they overthrow the government? Will Sylar find a way to help restore Peter's "only one power at a time" problem? Probably not, but one can hope. If I was Peter, I would absorb Sylar's power...problem solved I guess.

The whole Claire thing has gotten old. I want to be special and help the world. I want to be normal. Blah blah blah. Stop whining. It must run in the family, Nathan and Peter are the same way.

Although, I like Peter in the leader role. This transformation has definitely been happening since season two, where he takes control of situations and has a more badass demeanor. This is the Peter we saw in the future...

How the hell will Hiro get his power back? I bet they find out that the Ganges can heal him...probably not, it's like the grossest river in the world. I think I spelled it right.

Daphne died. I liked her. I am sure that will not last. I liked Parkman controlling the shooter and taking everyone out. About time they realized that one dude with mind control abilities would be almost unstoppable.

Anyways, that's about all I feel like talking about right now. Lost starts soon, and I have had a shitty week. I apologize.

Heroes: Clear and Present Danger

I am very annoyed that I decided to watch this instead of 24. Granted, I did watch 24 today, but still not the same.

Let me give a quick recap:
Everyone is hiding out, trying to be normal. Nathan is using his power as a Senator to round up everyone with powers. Once he has a bunch captured, Claire sneaks onto the plane and frees Peter. There is a battle, and the plane crashes. We find out that Mr.B is the co-pilot. Now they are all free and being hunted. The end.

That was the entire episode.

The Good
Sylar, while searching for his real father, falls into one of the government's traps. He easily defeats them. Which scares Nathan since Sylar could easily just start killing hundreds of people at a time...

The conversation between Nathan and Peter, where Nathan asks Peter which powers he has now. Peter responds "Whats the last one you remember seeing me use?" Nathan says "Flight." Peter leaves the apartment. Very cool Peter.

The Bad
The whole recreating the conversation between Peter and Mohinder in the cab. Very lame. Also, the guy getting in with a gun, just like Mr.B in season one. Trying to recreate season one is not the same as recreating the essence of season one. Dumbasses.

Why doesn't Tracy just freeze the gloves on her hands? Or freeze the floor? Or anything...

Is Peter so stupid that he did not realize what his brother was up to at the apartment?

So, Matt can now see the future? How the hell is that possible? Also, how come Peter now has to touch someone to gain their power? Before he had to be nearby and he did not glow.

That is about it. Anyone have any thoughts or comments about this show? Can it turn around?

2008 Review

So this is my 2008 review of the things that happened in my life, and on my blog. Hopefully it is not too boring...

January
Umm, post-wise I only had six for the month of January. I really do not remember too much. I know that I worked third shift on New Year's Eve. I also missed most of the really good football games.

I came up with my Bucket List, which I really did not seem to accomplish much from that, but I will work on it.

February
I vaguely remember being very lonely back in February, probably because it was cold and I was alone. That is usually how that works.

I realize now that this is where I had my first encounter with Justin at Mugshots. I should have known from bull riding that he was a complete tool bag.

This was also the time of the Clemens steroids crap. Remember how boring that was? Yeah, I forgot too, but now that I read my blog it all comes back to me. When are these losers going to be out of baseball? It was nice not having Bonds or Clemens in the league this year. Or was it? Anyone have an opinion on it.

The highlight of February has to me almost burning down my apartment. I came home from Mugshots and tried to cook a french bread pizza. Sadly I was too drunk and fell asleep. When I woke up, I found a charred log in the oven.

March
March was a decent month. I remember going out for St. Patrick's Day. Well not really went out, just wore a green shirt and went over to Mugshots and got really drunk. Especially after a shot of Jameson which made me make the worst face ever.

Speaking of Mugshots, I wrote my first post about the place and some of the crazy folks who go there. Oddly enough the bartenders and my friend Steve enjoyed them and demanded more.

I also tried dating a girl in March. That did not really work out. We went out a few times, and I liked her, but I was just not ready for anything. This was the point that I realized I missed Kacie...

The best thing about March though was doing my baseball picks and setting up my fantasy baseball team. My god do I love that sport. As I have said before, my picks were pretty bad, but not the worst ever. Also, I traded away my top two picks and ended up doing very well in fantasy.

March 31st was the opening day for the Pirates, which ended up being a very screwed up game if I remember correctly.

April
Sports-wise, lots of great stuff started happening in April. Baseball season had truly begun, March Madness just ended, hockey playoffs were heating up, and the NBA was doing something.

Allow me to tell you this story about a night in Mugshots. Actually it's more like a day. I went over to watch the Pirate's home opener against the Cubs. They got their asses kicked, but I drank from 1 p.m. until like 9:30. Around 9ish I had a brilliant idea: chug a bottle of Red Hot. My stomach immediately bloated and I barely made it home.

The next day I woke up and went to work. All day my piss was on fire, and for awhile it was a bright orange. Tip to everyone: NEVER TRY THAT!

I also started reading a bit more at this point. As most of you know, I always read, but for some reasons I will read a ton of books, then I take a few month break. This was the end of that break.

April was also the month where I decided I wanted to go on vacation. I put out my invitation to everyone, but no one really bit on it. Everyone except for Gideon. I bet you all wish you would have gone now bitches!

May
May was a very cool month. The Pens were kicking ass in the playoffs, awesome movies came out, plenty of beer was drank, and we started playing softball at work.

Let me just say that two incredibly awesome movies came out in May: Iron Man and Prince Caspian. I loved both of them. Does anyone remember how much everyone thought Iron Man was the best comic book movie ever and then Dark Knight came out and people pretty much forgot about Iron Man...

I made a prediction about how Lost would end, and I pretty much nailed it right on. I also thought about how hot Shannon was and how it was sad she had to die.

I also got angry at the mall because I could not find any clothes or shoes. Oddly enough it is December I still have not bought a pair shoes...

We started softball at this point, we had a good season. I only got to play in a few games though. It kind of sucked. Hopefully next season we will work that schedule out so we can all play.

This was also the month where Kacie and I went to Primanti's in Crafton. If you do not remember this story, allow me to explain. The bartender noticed how into baseball I was and told me that she was dating Dan Uggla and that he was upset that Hanley Ramirez got a larger contract. Something tells me she is crazy...

June
What a bad month. This was the point where Steve and I got jumped. As of now we have not really heard too much about it. I guess the trial will not be until after the new year...

To make matters worse, George Carlin died. I rarely give a shit when a celebrity dies, but Carlin was my all-time favorite comedian. He will be missed.

June also saw me rock a Hawaiian shirt to work everyday. Most of you laughed at me. Screw you. Soon I will wear a sweater vest to work everyday. Anything to get out of wearing a tie.

The Pens made it to the Stanley Cup finals, but lost to Detroit. Needless to say we drank like they won it anyways. I also got to use the company box at PNC Park to see the Pirates/Astros game, but unfortunately it was during game six of the finals. All of us were paying way closer attention to the tv than to the game. We did drink all the beer in the box though, which was pretty sweet.

I believe June was filled with many nights of me coming home from work or from the bar and watching Boondocks on Cartoon Network. I swear that is all I did for like two weeks.

July
Now this was a kickass month. The Dark Knight came out, and you all know my thoughts about that.

I also grew a beard because I was on vacation. Yes it was my second vacation of the year, but this one was more fun than the first, even if I only did little things. They were still very fun.

The Pirates made a few trades, namely Bay & Nady. Most fans got upset, but I was pretty excited by the direction the Pirates were going. Yes they suck, but they can only get better by trying to get some decent pitching. The only way that can happen is to make smart trades...

The 4th of July sucked this year. I worked. Big freakin' deal. The only interesting thing about it was that my brother had to deal with my crazy cousin trying to pay someone to beat him up. This is why I no longer have a family on my mom's side...

Also in July I went golfing again for the first time in like 4 years. I sucked pretty bad, but had some okay shots. Especially for being awake 32 hours and having no practice rounds or anything. Just playing a stupid company charity event. I wonder if I will play again next summer...

August
I remember writing this post and then picking up a book to try and read for a bit by the candle light. That is very difficult and for some reason the candle became too hot and cracked the glass. Oops.

The fall TV season started, and the only show that I really liked was True Blood, although I did not like it as much as I thought I would. Oh well.

The highlight of August was definitely going to the Steelers' preseason game against Carolina. I received the tickets from my mom and stepdad, and took a guy I work with. We had a great time. Unfortunately I did not make it to a real game yet.

September
Seemed to be a busy month for me. The big thing was Travis Fortney's birthday extravaganza down in Harrisburg. Revanstrife, Kacie, and I went down to Harrisburg for a fun time. We had a surprise party for T-Bone, then went back to his place and drank a ton of beer. End result:

I made some football predictions...somehow I bet they are way off. We had some major comment wars, which spawned The Yummy Pancake. I have not decided if it has been a failed experiment or not, we shall see where the future takes the pancake...

I also started the GOTW. Which is plenty of fun for me, looking at pictures of hot girls. How would I not like it?

Heroes started. I guess we can say that the season was a failure, but there were some great moments.

I read Brisingr, which actually caused some outside traffic to stray to my site. Kind of cool.

Fantasy baseball ended, Singer was the champion. Next season promises to be interesting, and I hope we can get plenty of people interested in playing.

October
This month sucked balls. I turned 28. I worked an assload of midnight shifts. Especially over my birthday and over Halloween. That really pissed me off.

On a cool note, I had the amazing dart game that month. I will admit though, since then I have been getting my ass beat by those guys. Except that we were using three darts of unequal weight. I bought some darts and so did Danny, and since then I have been back to form.

Because of all the midnight shifts, I did not go out much or do anything really. I know that I read a few books though and also purchased Iron Man. Also my computer broke, which cost me money and left me without the internet for a few days. That was a rough time.

November
Yes October sucked, but November rocked the cashbox. Obviously you know that this was my vacation cruise with Gideon and my mom/family. We got ridiculously drunk and had an insane time.
I would like to explain how weird I felt after the cruise. Steve picks me up at the airport and that evening we went out for beers. I was still swaying and thinking the ship was moving for like 2 more days. Luckily beer helped normalize me.

Also, November is Thanksgiving. I closed the store and went home at like 5 a.m. I managed to get a few hours sleep then Adam and I went out to Pap & Gram's for great food and some Texas Hold 'Em. I ended up winning like $30, which is always nice.

Needless to say these two events pretty much occupied the entire month.

December
And here we are. The wonderful month of December. Not a whole lot has happened so far. I worked a bunch. I went out a few nights. Umm, I still have not bought any Christmas presents so far and have no clue what to buy anyone.

I am sure Christmas will be fun, lots of food. Plenty of cards. Seeing great people...

Heroes: "Dual"

This episode concludes volume three. Like I keep saying, people are saying how bad the show is this season, and they are mostly right. Unfortunately, there are some really good moments in each episode, but I think the whole catalyst/power thing is just uninteresting. And it makes all the mythos of season one seem not as real.

"Dual" started out a little differently. Instead of Mohinder giving an opening monologue, it was Sylar. Lucky for me (and now you) I found the entire quoted text:

On the sixth day, God created man in his own image. Now it's up to us to figure it all out: right, wrong, good, evil. In each of us is the capacity to decide what drives our actions. So what is it that makes some choose selflessness, the need to devote oneself to something greater, while others know only self-interest, isolating themselves in a world of their own making? Some seek love even if unrequited, while others are driven by fear and betrayal. There are those who see their choices as dark proof of God's absence, while others follow a path of noble destiny. But in the end, good, evil, right or wrong, what we choose is never what we really need, for that is the ultimate cosmic joke, the real gift that God has left behind.

Instead of giving a summary of what happened, I will just tell you what happened to our favorite characters.

Peter
Peter injected himself with the formula and used Nathan's power to save them both from the burning lab. In theory he should only have flight and Flint's fire ability. He and Nathan are no longer that close.

Nathan
We are seeing the beginning of the Nathan we saw in the future from season one. Remember? It turned out to be Sylar, but I am guessing that Nathan initiated the plans to turn all the people with powers over to the government. The season ended with Nathan in limo with the president. He gives him a dossier of all the characters and what their abilities are...

Hiro & Ando
Hiro still does not have his powers back. Ando now has powers, his power is to supercharge another person's power, which is how they saved Hiro from the past. How will Hiro restore his powers?

Claire
Claire stabbed Sylar and almost saved her bio-mom. Seriously, did anyone else laugh at the way Sylar called Meredith bio-mom? Anyways, not really sure where Claire goes from here. Probably back to school.

Sylar
Ended the season with a shard of glass stuck in the back of his skull. Is he done? Could this really be it for him? I somehow doubt it. I am guessing that the fire will somehow cause something to fall and knock the glass out of his brain. Or maybe Sylar is really done, so Quinto can work on other projects?

Matt & Daphne
Daphne redeemed herself. Matt celebrated. They went home and had sex. Actually they had a great idea, which is kind of what the previous writer of the show has been saying in regards to how to fix the show. The idea that the heroes power was some innate. For example, Daphne wanted to run, Matt was self-conscious and wondered what everyone thought, Hiro was a bored office-drone who wanted to stop time...that is why Ando did not get Hiro's power, instead he is the ultimate buddy.

Anyways, does the future come true and we find Matt working for Nathan tracking down the other Heroes? That about wraps it up. Hopefully they work the kinks out, and we start the next chapter out in grand style.

Heroes: "Our Father"

This season is winding down. It definitely has been a let down overall story wise. It started off with a bunch of bad guys getting released, and ended up with another group trying to give powers to the world and Primatech being the good guys. We saw Sylar try to be good, then work for his dad, and now he is back to the old, evil Sylar.

If this episode did not have to be measured up to the overall season, I would say it was an excellent episode. We learn some interesting things about the characters and their fathers. Unfortunately, the odd little season mistakes and annoyances prevail through the episode, which in the end helped drag it down.

Hiro and Claire
The main reason this episode is called "Our Father" has to do with these two time-travelers. They go back sixteen years ago to the moment when Kaito gives Claire to Mr.B. Hiro sees his mom heal a dove and decides to stay and have her heal his mind. Claire goes after the Bennett family in order to protect herself.

Hiro listens in on Kaito explaining to his mom that Hiro is too irresponsible to be given the catalyst. He believes that Hiro will never amount to anything. Young Hiro tells current Hiro that his father does not believe in him and that he is probably right. The two Hiro's then do the exact same body positions, which was kind of cool (especially when you consider that mentally they are the same age).

Hiro then makes his mom waffles and explains who he is. She believes him and heals his mind. He then remembers everything and hugs her and tells her that he misses her. She gives him the catalyst and then dies.

Meanwhile, Claire befriends Sandra Bennett, and helps her with baby Claire. Mr.B comes home and does not believe Claire's story. Claire explains that the company wants to take Claire away and do something to her. She also says that his Claire-bear will be in his life for at least sixteen more years. When the phone rings, he decides not to answer it.

Claire and Hiro meet up, where Hiro explains he now has the catalyst. This is where things get confusing. Arthur walks onto the rooftop and takes the catalyst and Hiro's powers. He then throws Hiro off the roof. Hiro catches a flagpole and hangs on for dear life. Arthur then teleports Claire back to the present time and gives her a message for Angela "Tell her I won." He then teleports back to Pinehearst and uses the catalyst to activate the formula.

How the hell did he teleport back in time? Or was that the Arthur from that time? If that were the case, how did he know what to do or when to go? Also, if he wanted to steal Hiro's powers, why did he not just do this back in Africa? That is the problem with this season, good episodes are ruined by the silliness of the season theme.

Sylar
Now the bad man, just gets more bad ass. After killing Elle, he uses her phone to call Arthur. He says that he has a whole list of new powers (from her phone) and that he wants to know the truth. Arthur says that he is Sylar's father and that he should return. Sylar says he will.

He pays a girl a visit who can detect when people are lying. He slams her to the wall and before he cuts her head open, says that it will not hurt. And then very sheepishly says oh wait, I lied. She screams and her office mates come in to give her a surprise birthday cake. They see Sylar covered in blood and he says "oooh cake." Classic.

Later he rides the elevator up to see Arthur with some guy who keeps staring at all the blood he is covered in. Sylar just smiles. Once at the office, he stops the bullet that Peter shoots at Arthur. Asks if he really is his son. Arthur says yes, and Sylar's new power indicates he is lying. He releases the bullet, which kills Arthur. Sylar then turns to Peter and says "do not worry, you have nothing I want." Peter sends the Haitian after Sylar.

Here is the big question. How will Peter get his power back? Will he use the formula? What if everyone who used the formula was given Peter's power? They would be useless because they would all end up with flight from Nathan, haha. Sorry, just thinking out loud. I kind of thought that when Arthur died, he would give back everyone their powers.

So, one week to go and then they can reboot for the next arc.

Heroes: "The Eclipse Part 2"

It looks like this years finale will be about four episodes long. I was down with this episode. Everything that happened seemed to be pretty cool and seems to be going on the right track.

Peter and Nathan
Peter and the Haitian rescue Nathan from Baron Samedi. As they make a run for it, soldiers come after them, Peter says he will stay behind to distract them. Nathan argues, but Peter says that since he has no powers, he is expendable. Peter holds the soldiers off for a bit, but then runs out of ammo and surrenders.

Nathan and the Haitian come back, both with their powers. Nathan flies into the Baron, slamming him into a car, but that does nothing to the unstoppable dictator. The Haitian then uses his power to defeat his brother. Nathan then tells Peter that he is going to join the Pinehearst group because if everyone had powers, the world would be a better place. He flies away, leaving Peter and the Haitian.

Sylar & Elle/Mr.B & Claire
After some hardcore sex, the two get shot at by Mr.B. They escape, but not before Elle gets hit. Mr.B tracks them to a grocery store, where he and Sylar have a nice battle. And by battle, I mean Sylar gets his ass kicked, then his throat cut.

At this point, Claire has just died, but when the eclipse goes away, she comes back to life. She is angry that Mr.B was not there for her when she needed him. When he hears she died, he becomes afraid, and for good reason. Sylar and Elle are downstairs.

Sylar is about to kill Mr.B when something very unexpected happens. Well not too unexpected, since everyone knew it was coming. Anyways, Hiro teleports in and grabs Sylar and says "Bad man" and takes him away, then reappears and takes Elle away as well. He then comes back and picks up Claire and they go back in time. More on that in a minute.

Hiro took Elle and Sylar to a beach somewhere (what a nice guy, I would have dumped them in Antarctica). They have a little talk, then Sylar climbs on top of her and tells her that he cannot change who he is, and that he will always have issues. He is perplexed by the things Mr.B said, especially about the Petrelli's not being his parents.

Elle tells Sylar that he is hurting her, and he says "I know." He then cuts her head open and the hottest girl on the show dies. But, we get our favorite villain back, so that is a good thing.

Hiro/Ando/Parkman
At the comic store, Ando gets Hiro to read a whole bunch of 9th Wonders. Breckin believes they are who they say they are, but Seth does not. Matt realizes they will get their powers back and goes to see Daphne before she can run away.

Hiro sees his father die and all the bad things that happen and he locks himself in the bathroom. Seth talks to him and tells him that if he were truly Hiro, he would step up and accept his responsibility. Hiro comes out and says thank you. They discover in issue one that Hiro and Claire were at the meeting when Hiro's father gives Mr.B the baby Claire. That is when Hiro teleports in and saves Claire.

They then go back to that point and watch the hand off, in hopes of Hiro getting his memory back. Seth sees Hiro teleport and now believes them. He says that this would be the last 9th Wonders issue, but there is a rumor that Isaac gave his sketchbook to a bike messenger before he died. That is where Matt, Daphne, and Ando will probably go now.

Here is the question though, how will Peter get his powers back? Will the Haitian be able to help him out? When they defeat Arthur, will Peter's come back? Will Peter have a showdown against Sylar and Nathan? Or will Sylar just become a complete monster and try to kill everyone? So many questions, so little time left.

Heroes: "The Eclipse Part One"

The season is winding down. This episode had some great moments, and really started to tie things together, well a few things anyways.

First, I enjoy Sylar and Elle. She points out to him that he just becomes what everyone wants him to be. He realizes she is right and starts making his own choices. Once they lose their powers, he seems relieved and they kiss each other. Awe, how cute.

Second, I think we can now see the point in Arthur's plans. Now that they do not have powers, he needs a formula from Mohinder. The powers have become a drug for many of the characters, they have been defined by those powers.

Seth Green and Breckin Myer being the guys at the comic book store is pretty sweet. Those two are usually pretty funny no matter what.

Here is something that irks me about the eclipse thing. Remember during season one when people got their powers? It never seemed like the eclipse caused it, also eclipses like that do not happen every year or so. Plus, how come Arthur and that generation do not remember an eclipse giving them powers before?

Anyways, let me know what you guys thought and hopefully the second part will be pretty sweet and encourage me to write more about it. Oh and my prediction for next week is that when Mr.B shoots Sylar, his powers come back and he heals from the bullet.

Heroes: "Villains" and "It's Coming"

As promised, here comes my huge post about the previous two episodes. And I am spent. Woo. Seriously, vacation took everything out of me. Just kidding.

Villains
This was another flashback episode, which shows how some of the characters lives turned out the way they are now. Hiro, in his drug induced spirit walk, sees different events that shaped the lives of a few different characters: Meredith, Flint, Sylar, Arthur, and Nathan.

Here is what I can say about the episode, it was pretty good, but not great. Obviously since I fell asleep in the last ten minutes. The Flint/Meredith story was okay, but why is this introduced now? I mean, letting us know that they are siblings could have made Flint a more dynamic character, and maybe we would care about him at this point in the season.

It turns out that Arthur had Linderman put a hit out on Nathan, which caused the car accident which left his wife paralyzed. Angela finds out and confronts her husband, who just uses his mind power to convince her that Nathan must die. Later though Linderman heals her mind, and she tries to kill Arthur with the help of everyone's favorite Haitian.

Nathan finds his dad and takes him to the hospital, where the doctor says he is dead. Odd that they said he died of heart attack, when Peter first jumped off the building to test his flying ability, Angela later says that their father killed himself and suicide runs in the family. Does anyone else remember that?

Anyways, the doctor worked for Arthur and we find out that he is paralyzed and close to death. Anyone ever watch Trigun? Does Arthur remind anyone of Knives, who is more powerful than anyone, but hooked to machines to keep him alive?

The best part was the evolution of Sylar. After stealing his first victims power, he tries to kill himself. Elle comes to his watch shop and saves his life (using her power, but Sylar did not know). She was sent by Mr.B to see if how he transfers powers.

Later she keeps visiting him, and starts to actually develop feelings for him. Mr.B makes her bring another special person, Trevor, who makes things explode. Sylar realizes she lied to him and that she has a power, and he kills Trevor and takes his ability while Elle gets away. I will have more on why this was cool to me after the next episode.

The episode ends with Arthur killing the African dream guy, and grabbing Hiro's head and causing Hiro to scream...

It's Coming
Even though the show has begun to drift away from what made it so cool, some of the new episodes have great moments. This was one of those episodes.

Ando saves Hiro from Arthur (well sort of) and makes him teleport them out of there. He discovers that Hiro has been reverted back to a ten year old. After many little pranks, Hiro starts to learn how to use his power and they go to a comic store to figure out what to do next. They see 9th Wonders and the last page has another eclipse that says "It's Coming"...

Peter and Claire escape from Flint and Knox. Claire tries to fight them to save Peter, but finds out that they were never after Peter, they wanted Claire. Peter comes back and uses a broken gaspipe and a little taunting to force Flint to blast the pipe causing an explosion which allows the two time to escape.

Matt rescues Angela from her mental prison, where Daphne helps him and says she loves him. Not too much to say, I like this storyline, but they need to explore the mental powers more...

Arthur tells Sylar that he knows he saved Peter's life, and that it is okay. Arthur explains that Sylar can take people's powers without killing them. He needs to learn empathy. So he and Peter are the same powers wise?

Sylar is locked in a room with Elle, who is in chains (what I would not give to be stuck in a room with a chained up Kristen Bell...) Sorry, got a little excited. She screams at him for killing her dad and blasts him a nice bolt of electricity. She keeps pumping it to him, and he keeps healing. Finally she asks him to kill her, to take the pain away. Sylar tells her that he is not a killer, that he can help her. She must forgive herself. As they begin to bond, he is able to manifest the electricity, and he frees her from her bondage (haha).

She teaches him how to control it, and the real flirt and probably had some kinky sex...Now, onto my thoughts about this change in Sylar. Before we saw him as the bad guy, but Quinto did such a great job that I think the writer's really wanted to make him a good guy. Sadly, making him another Petrelli was not the best of ideas, but it was a thought I had back in the first few episodes, that Sylar was either Peter or Arthur. I love character growth, and this is a character who has definitely grown the most.

The episode ends with the good guys ending up at Primatech and the bad guys all at Pinehearst. Angela explains that the formula needs a catalyst to fuel it. Claire realizes that she must be the catalyst since Sylar says she was different.

So, are we back to Save the Cheerleader, Save the World? Okay, I typed way too much and I think the room is rocking back and forth. I guess that is a side effect of a cruise? Please, give me your thoughts and theories on the two episodes.

Heroes: "Eris Quod Sum"

This was a fairly cool episode with lots of characters starting to come together and people finally making some decisions.

Sylar and Peter
Angela reaches out to Sylar and tells him that he is more powerful than he knows and there should be no reason he can be held in a cage. She wants him to save Peter. He wakes up and leaves his cell.

He goes into Pinehearst, tosses Mohinder away from Peter and then kills the lab assistant. As Peter prepares to run away, Mohinder uses his new powers to bash Sylar's skull off the floor. Arthur fires some eletricity at Peter, but Peter still escapes.

Arthur then explains to Sylar that Angela tried to kill him as a baby and that he needs to join Arthur's team. Peter comes to save Sylar, but he says he is exactly where he needs to be and tosses Peter out the window.

Claire and Elle
This sexy combo teamed up because Elle can no longer control her powers. Her and Claire decide to go to Pinehearst to see if they can be helped. On the plane Elle starts to snap and crackle, but before she can pop, Claire tells her to grab her hand and she absorbs the electricity.

As they walk toward Pinehearst, Peter comes falling out of the window. Claire grabs him and says that his powers are gone and she needs to get him away. Unfortunately Elle decides to go inside to maybe lose her powers.

Claire fixes Peter's cuts then asks the important question, how did he survive that fall without his powers? Peter believes that Sylar saved him and you can see that Peter is starting to come around to Sylar.

Peter calls in Nathan, who says he will not go to Pinehearst to confront his father. Tracy realizes he is lying and asks if he needs help, she might be able to open some doors. Nathan says that he is going to kick them down. Right, he can fly, I bet that will help out against Arthur...

Matt and Daphne
Arthur sends Daphne to kill Matt. Matt's dad tries to reason with Arthur, but he winds up dead on the floor. Daphne tries to shoot Matt, but she cannot do it. Terrence comes and he kills both Daphne and Matt. He then leaves and the room changes and Matt and Daphne are alive and safe. Parkman used his Jedi-mind tricks on Terrence.

Matt tells Daphne that he will fight the Pinehearst group, but he might need help from Primatech. At the end of the show we see her on the phone with Arthur saying that Parkman believed her...what does Arthur have on Daphne? Maybe he is holding her child hostage?

Hiro and Ando
Not too much happened to this duo. Hiro eats some drugs and goes into a trance in order to go on his own spirit walk. Really not much to say about it.

So my questions is how will Peter get his powers back? Will Sylar end up the good guy? Will Elle ever get naked for me?

Eris Quod Sum means You Will Be What I Am or I am what you will be...does that mean Sylar will become like Arthur or maybe Peter?

Heroes: "Dying of the Light"

Sometimes I am right and sometimes I am wrong. I really thought that Hiro might actually have stabbed Ando, but instead he just went back in time and set up a blood pack with a fake sword and told Ando to pretend to be dead...it was cool because at least Ando is still with us, and it seemed to have made Ando realize what Hiro feels about being hurt by his best friend.

I was kind of right about Arthur Petrelli, his power seems to be some sort of power absorption, unlike Peter's power though, his father must actually be in contact with the person. We first see him use this power on Adam, which upset me. I like Adam. I really wanted them to explore the idea of him and Hiro working together, and maybe rekindling their friendship. It was cool to see Adam wither up and die without his power to keep him from aging.

The scene where the puppet master controls the three ladies was okay, but who did not see that coming? And why did Sandra have such a hard time shooting Claire? I would have pulled the trigger in a heartbeat. Oh well, that's just me, and I may be a heartless bastard.

The villains of Pinehearst are about to square off against the Company, who will win? I have a small problem right now, what is either sides agenda? The Company in the beginning was taking people with powers and tagging them, they seem like they try to control the dangerous people. The Pinehearst group wants everyone to have powers? So in order to obtain that goal, they recruit the bad guys? Maybe some clarification needs to be made between the two groups, a mission statement or something.

I really like the Sylar/Peter relationship. Sylar reaching out to Peter, trying to work with him so they can both control the hunger, yet Peter cannot get past the moment and forgive his newfound brother, even though in the future he met Gabe, who was reformed with his son...

Parkman's story happens to be pretty cool, and my prediction of him falling to the darkside appears to be way off. "Thanks turtle." Best line of the episode. I love that he is trying to convince Daphne about the future, but without coming off as totally creepy.

Hiro versus the precog was funny. I mean, shovels to the head always make me laugh. A teleporter against a precog, who wins? Well I guess the precog...

The episode ends with Peter going to the Pinehearst facility and finding his father there. Daddy asks Peter to give him a hug and then absorbs his powers. Peter has been taken out of the equation. He better get his powers back.

The preview had the worst line ever in it. Peter struggles against his father and Arthur says "You're grounded son." Ugh.

Heroes: "Angels and Monsters"

I know, most of you are all done with the show and what not, but aside from a few bad story arcs, there are some very cool things happening. I love the idea of Peter becoming more like Sylar, that just intrigues me.

Also, the confrontation between Mr.B/Sylar/Claire was pretty sweet. Mr. B finally found his way to kill Sylar, but the dude would not do it, and it seemed like Claire did not want him to do it either. Sylar is a smooth talker, trying to pit Claire against her father.

The Linderman conundrum has been solved, it is Parkman's dad manipulating minds. But, who is he building an army for? That is right, Mr. Petrelli. I knew the old man was not really dead, I said that back in season one, then again in season two. What is his power? He must be very dangerous. He also wants Adam on his team, hmm.

Angela has a vision of her husband in the future, with Nathan/Peter/Tracey all dead. I wonder if his power is similar to Sylar's? I hope not, I would like to see something a little more creative. Maybe he is like Peter, but with a lot more powers and years of experience...

Did Hiro really stab Ando? Is he dead? I bet not, that is why Ando will try to get his own powers to one day kill Hiro. What could make them turn on each other, going to the future caused Hiro to see Ando kill him, which then led Hiro to distrust Ando...see where I am going with this?

Anyways, let me know what you guys think...

Heroes: "I Am Become Death"

A much better episode than last weeks. This one had plenty of fun stuff, especially current Peter and future Peter traveling four years into the future. While there Claire kills future Peter (because the Haitian is present to block out his healing power). Before he dies though, he tells Peter to go find Sylar, his power will help Peter fix time.

Peter goes off to find Sylar, a mutated Mohinder tells him that Sylar lives in Costa Verde. Peter teleports there, and finds a very unexpected welcoming. A small child says "Hi Uncle Peter." The kid runs to his father, Sylar. The kid then asks where is Peter's scar. Sylar and Peter go into another room, where Sylar asks where he came from. Peter explains what is happening, but Sylar says that he will not give Peter his power because the hunger is too much.

Peter tries to take it, but Sylar fights him off. Peter then reasons with him to paint the future. Sylar does, and sees the world will end. Sylar gives Peter his old watch and says to fix it. As Peter fixes it, we hear the familiar ticking clock sound and Peter now has the ability to understand how things work.

At that moment, Claire, Knox, and Daphne attack the house. Using Sylar's kid as a hostage, Claire says she will release the kid if Peter agrees to die. Peter takes her out and then battles with Daphne. Knox uses Sylar's son's fear to make him strong and starts beating up Sylar. From the fight the son is accidentally killed, causing Sylar to go nuclear. He kills over 200,000 people.

Claire has Peter in captivity, and she begins to cut him with the Haitian present so he cannot heal or teleport away. Is this how he got his facial scar? Nathan, the President of the USA, comes in and wants to talk with Peter. He explains that he knows of the paintings and that one person cannot save the world, blah blah blah. Peter reads his mind, but tells Nathan that even though he believes he is right, he is actually wrong. Peter then feels the hunger that Sylar warned him about and starts to cut Nathan's head.

He becomes scared and teleports back in time. Where might you ask? To Sylar's cell at Level 5. He immediately grabs him by the throat and wants to know how to control it and tells Sylar that he will never be like him. Sylar goads that they are brothers. Which is not much of a revelation to Peter since he learned that from the nice Sylar like an hour ago.

The Peter/Sylar thing was cool. Remember, they battled in the first season very briefly. At the end of the season they sort of had a battle, but it was Hiro who did the damage. Then they battled in the future where Sylar was pretending to be Nathan...but we have yet to see them actually talk. I wonder what makes Sylar change? Who is the kid's mom? I bet it's Elle, she likes a bad boy.

Anyways, before I go back to sleep, I just want to point out an interesting thought about Peter's character. He is an empath, he absorbs powers, but also does he probably get a little bit of people's emotions? Notice how he never stops and thinks about things rationally. In fact, he just gets caught up in the moment. At first he was all anti-Future Peter, then one he is dead, he starts to believe him. Sylar says they are brothers, Peter is okay with it, in fact he begins to trust this new Sylar almost immediately...just some food for thought.

Sorry that I did not focus on the other stuff in the episode. Way too tired.

Heroes: "One of Us, One of Them"

This episode was not all that great. It had some cool moments, but overall it kind of let me down. It started off with so much potential, then just fell apart. For example, the best overall story was Sylar and Mr.B teaming up.

I saw two scenarios coming about: 1) They make a great team and we see over the course of the season the two becoming friends...2) Sylar helps the rest of the villains escapes and leads them against the company. With Peter and Mr.B partnering together (along with Elle) in order to stop them.

Instead, Sylar takes Jesse's powers, then lets Mr.B take him back to Level 5. Does Sylar want to change? Does he want to get to know Angela? Does he think his best bet is to just wait there and allow his newfound mom to keep feeding?

We also got to see Future Peter pull Jesse and Peter apart, then FP took Peter into the future to show him why he did what he had to do. Maybe Future Peter will teach Peter how to be a super badass.

Hiro and Ando's storyline comes off as a bit campy. So much more could be done with them battling against Daphne, instead of just wacky hijink. Plus, it is a bit of a stretch to see how these situations will cause Ando to turn to the darkside.

Speaking of Daphne, she's hot, in a cute & spunky kind of way.

Parkman gets to see the future, which is funny because what kind of crappy power does the African have? He can see the future, but it is only one guys? And now Parkman takes some drugs and is going to paint the future as well...I am pretty sure that is how Grant Morrison writes comic books...do not believe me? Read Invisibles...

Let me say that Claire's desire for revenge against Sylar could end up being very cool. She steals her dad's files and decides to go out on her own to bring down the villains. Somewhere along the way she needs to learn how to actually fight though. Who will teach her? Elle! Think about it, she is unemployed, pissed off, ready to prove she can do the job. Somehow they will find each other and prove that you do not need One of Us, One of Them to succeed.

Another very interesting storyline, and I cannot believe I am about to say this, was Tracy meeting Micah. We see that Niki really is dead, and yet Tracy looks exactly like her. The first thing I thought was, oh Tracy is her twin sister. Micah confirms that by saying they were born in the same hospital on the same day. Tracy goes to search for Dr. Zimmerman, and he says that he created them. How many of these chicks are out there? Why have I not run into one of them? And by run into, I mean sleep with...

Let me know what you guys thought, was a way off base on this one?

Heroes: "The Second Coming" and "The Butterfly Effect"

Oh god, the moment we have waited all year for or at least since the last episode aired. The two hour premiere kicked off tonight and absolutely kicked ass. Instead of doing a complete recap like I usually do, this time I will just discuss the main characters.

Nathan
At the end of last season we watched Nathan get shot just before he announced to the world his powers. We learn early on that the shooter was Peter from four years in the future. He came back to stop his brother because in the future people with powers are captured, tortured, studied, and forced to do things against their will.

As Nathan is about to die, he somehow miraculously heals, and it turns out to be because of Linderman. Nathan believes that he was saved by god, which causes the governor of NY to decide to appoint him to the US Senate.

Peter
So, future Peter keeps messing with things and it just causes the future to keep changing. He realizes the mistakes he has made, especially when trapped current Peter into a prisoner's cell and made him look like a guy named Jesse (who has some sonic scream power), now current Peter is on the run with some real bad people and hopefully being tracked by future Peter.

Parkman
Future Peter sends Parkman to Africa. After walking around for awhile and almost dying, Matt thinks a turtle talks to him, but it turns out to be a guy, who can see the future. My prediction that Parkman might be the one to become a villain, may be off base, but we shall see.

Claire
Our favorite cheerleader receives a visit from Sylar. He attacks her and opens her brain up. She asks if he will eat the part of her brain that gives her power, and he says that is disgusting. He somehow absorbs her power, and heals his knife wound. He then reattaches her scalp and tells her that she is special, unlike all the others because he cannot kill her, no one can.

Later she begs Mr.B to take her with him when he goes after the criminals because she wants to help and does not like being the victim. He says no, but says he brought someone who could watch over her, Claire's real mom.

Hiro
Hiro is now in charge of his father's company, but is bored out of his mind. He wants an adventure. He receives a DVD from his father, which talks about not opening a safe, that he must safeguard what is inside. Naturally he opens the safe, and there is a second video, his father scolds him, but then says that Hiro must not let his half of the formula fall into the wrong hands.

At that moment, a speedster named Daphne steals the formula, but Hiro freezes time. Hiro confronts her, but she can counteract his power and asks him some interesting questions, such as if he freezes time in Tokyo, but then chases her, would time still be frozen in Tokyo?

Hiro also goes into the future to see what the danger of the formula is and sees himself killed by Ando, who now has his own awesome power.

Sylar
Okay, the guy we have wanted to come back all year. Sylar goes to the facility and first kills Bob. Elle gets Mr.B out of his cell, who shoots Sylar, but watches him heal. Sylar goads him by saying that he paid Claire a little visit.

He is about to kill Elle, but she unleashes her power at full force. It frees the prisoners (including the misplaced Peter) and takes down Sylar, who is now being held there by Angela. She takes over Bob's job and immediately fires Elle. She then tells Sylar that she is his mother. If she is telling the truth, that means Peter and Sylar (and Nathan as well) are all brothers. Talk about a weird family.

Mohinder
Suresh helps good ol' Maya by isolating where the power comes from (the adrenal gland) and discovers that he could give everyone powers. He then injects himself, and gets some cool powers. Also the side effect happens to be he becomes a deusche, but that allows him to sleep with Maya, which is cool. He discovers that his body has an adverse side effect that his skin is doing some weird things.

Conclusion
I know I forgot a few things, but so much happened, it was hard to keep track of it all. I may have to watch it online again this week. Did anyone see the preview where they show Mr.B and Sylar being partnered together? That is pretty insane.

What could cause Ando to turn on Hiro? I believe once they discover what the formula does, Ando will want powers and Hiro will be against it. The formula must be the answer to how to gain powers or something.

Fall Preview

I noticed on Greg's blog that he had up his Fall TV preview, and knew it was that time to let you all know what I am getting excited for, not just TV wise, but other entertainment as well.

TV Shows

Obviously the big show I am excited for is Heroes. The teaser gave me a boner, just imagine what will happen on September 22 when the three hour premiere finally happens...

Next up, True Blood, the premise sounds cool; vampires admit to the world what they are and a small town waitress tries to date one, or something like that. Anna Paquin stars in this one by the guy who did Six Feet Under, which started off good, but got weird toward the end.

Fringe sounds very cool, except that I feel like this should be written by Warren Ellis. This seems more like something he would do and probably do it much better and a good bit funnier. Oh well, I will still check it out.

Other shows that I will continue to watch whenever I can, but not really care if I miss an episode: Smallville,Supernatural, House, and Bones. Actually I used to watch Supernatural because it was on after Smallville, but as of last season, it became the reason to tune in to CW on Thursdays.

Books
Two books come out fairly soon, which have me fairly excited. The first is The Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie, it is the third book in his First Law trilogy. Actually it came out this week, and I picked it up today, so umm, yeah, I am very excited for it.

September 20, sees the release of Brisingr, the third and not so final book in the Inheritance TrilogyCycle by Christopher Paolini.

DVDs
Basically only one DVD has me super excited and that is Iron Man. Remember before The Dark Knight, when everyone saw the movie back in May and talked about how awesome it was? Yeah, me too. I cannot wait to watch it again.

Alright, so not much of a fall preview, but should help you better understand how I will be spending my nights when I am not at work. Obviously reviews for Heroes will be up and we can always discuss it each week, any other shows you guys want to talk about?

Heroes Season 3

About bloody time. This preview for season three has put me in the greatest mood ever.



A 3-hour premiere???

Heroes: "Powerless"

Damn writer's strike. Although, I cannot rail on them too much, they do have some valid points, which I do not feel like discussing right now.

Let's start with the first person to die: Niki. I finally got my wish, thank you writers, for that alone you should have your demands met. How did she die? Who cares, she is gone. Let us move on.

Mohinder vs. Sylar
Mohinder returns to his place and finds Sylar there. Sylar says that Maya is making breakfast. Mohinder asks Maya if she knows that Sylar is a killer, and Maya says she knows that and that she too has taken lives.

Mohinder realizes that Sylar does not have his power and tries to stab him with a knife, but Sylar pulls a gun on him. Maya realizes that he is a monster and starts to use her power. Sylar says that she will also kill Molly and Mohinder. She stops from killing them and Sylar forces all of them to Mohinder's lab where he can receive the cure.

Once there, Mohinder takes some of Sylar's blood and discovers that he was injected by the company just like Niki. Molly looks for Alejandro, but cannot find him. Maya realizes that Sylar killed him and wants to confront him. Sylar shoots her in the chest and tells Mohinder to give her the blood to see if it works.

She starts to heal, but then someone unexpected shows up: Elle. She was upset about being punished by her father and broke into his computer, where she saw the surveillance camera at Mohinder's lab. She sees Sylar and decides to bring him down herself.

Sylar fires a couple bullets at Elle, then grabs the final syringe and runs out of the room. Elle chases after him and hits him with a few bolts of electricity. Elle then returns to the lab and says he got away. Mohinder says that he took the vial.

In the prologue for Volume Three: Villains, we see Sylar inject the blood and his wounds begin to heal. He then focuses on an empty can of spinach and makes it come to him. He then says "I'm back."

Claire
West comes to the house and wants Claire not to expose them, but her mind is made up and he leaves and flies away with a very sad expression on his face. Then Mr.B walks through the door and tells Claire that she cannot expose the Company, that he has made a deal that will keep them safe. He then leaves.

Hiro vs. Peter/Adam
Nathan and Parkman confront Angela about where Adam plans to go, she tells them that he wants the virus and that it is in Texas. Nathan tells her that Peter is alive and working with Adam. She tells them that the only way to kill Adam is a bullet in the head. As they leave, Parkman hears her thinking to him that if Peter cannot be stopped then a bullet in his brain is all that will stop him.

They land in Texas and make a few jokes about how they should never talk about that experience (which seemed to be an obvious nod to the comic book Invincible, where the main character always says how gay it looks to fly people around, especially his best guy friend.

Peter and Hiro battle briefly, but then Peter knocks Hiro out and restarts time. Adam says that they were friends once. They get to the vault where the virus awaits them. Peter uses his telekinesis to rip the vault door out. Once it is out, he looks kind of weak and tells Adam to go in and destroy the virus.

Parkman comes at Peter and tells him to stop Adam using his mind powers. At first Peter seems to be falling under the power, but then he fights back and uses his other powers to take down Parkman. Then Nathan comes out and talks some sense into Peter.

Hiro teleports into the vault and Adam says that he will kill Hiro. Hiro knocks the sword away and puts an arm on Adam's shoulder and teleports them away. As this happens Adam drops the virus, but Peter runs into the vault and catches the vial. Peter then uses his nuclear power to disintegrate the virus.

Hiro teleports back to Ando and says that Adam will not be a problem, and they show Adam inside a coffin in the ground. He screams and as the camera drifts upwards his screams disappear and we see that he is at Kaito's grave. Nice job Hiro, I hope that he never finds a way to get out because he will be really pissed and really smelly.

Nathan decides to tell the world about his powers. He gives a press conference and just before he can say he can fly, two shots are fired and hit him in the chest. Parkman scans the room, but cannot find the shooter. We then see someone walk out of the building.

Angela is seen watching the footage of Nathan's death and says to someone on the phone that it was unavoidable, but now they may have opened up Pandora's Box. She is such an evil bitch, killing her own son.

My guess is that she was on the phone with Bob, who found out what Nathan was planning and made a deal with Mr.B. I am guessing that Peter will now be seeking revenge.
